Chelsea winger Willian has accepted Arsenal ‘s contract offer, says ESPN.
Arsenal has offered Willian, 31, a three-year contract for a weekly salary of around £ 100,000. According to ESPN, the transfer is expected to be confirmed later this month.
Willian has represented Chelsea for seven years and negotiated an extension agreement with the blue shirts for a long time. Brassitaituri has made it clear to the public that he wants a three-year deal that Chelsea has not been prepared to offer. Willian’s current contract expires this month, so he doesn’t have to pay a transfer fee.
According to ESPN, Chelsea’s head coach Frank Lampard encouraged the club leadership to find a solution to the situation, but his wishes did not work.
Willian’s agent Kia Joorabchian said last week that his client has five offers on his table, two from the Premier League and three more from abroad.
