Wolverhampton on Thursday defeated the Greek Olympiakos 1-0 in the second quarter of the Europa League and advanced to the top eight with a 2-1 overall goal.
The only one of the match was seen in the ninth minute when Wolverhampton pressed aggressively and Olympiakos goalkeeper Bobby Allain ended up making too much contact with the ball. Daniel Podence rushed to deprive the game device and Allain would push him from the back to overturn. The result was a penalty kick Raúl Jiménez submitted in. 1-0 (2-1).
