The second free practice of Formula One at Silverstone is currently underway.
The drills have progressed according to a familiar formula: Mercedes’s pace has been overwhelming, Ferrari’s miserable.
Ferrari’s pace has been completely lost.
Sebastian Vettel, who is currently only 14th on the leaderboard, has been in particular difficulty. Vettel is just over a second and a half from the top time driven by Lewis Hamilton. It is the formula number one for eternity.
A little better has gone with Charles Leclerc, who is currently seventh. However, he, too, is more than 1.2 seconds behind the tip.
