Former La Liga star Arda Turanin the transition to Galatasaray knows a great reduction for the Turk in the account bag. The 33-year-old midfielder’s contract with FC Barcelona expired at the end of June.
Although Turan did not participate in the Barcelona exercises at the end of his contract, the club had to pay his salary until the end of the contract. The Turkish loan pledge with Basaksehir was dismantled as early as January.
Marcan according to the data, the new earnings in Galatasaray would be significantly lower. In his new company, Turan earns more than 6.5 million euros less than last year’s annual salary.
Marca says that Turan enjoyed an annual salary of up to seven million euros in Barca. In Galatasaray, the account accrues only 466,000 euros per season.
Turan was enrolled in Barcelona for five years after joining Atlético Madrid. The Turkish played in the club’s ranks in only 36 league matches.
