Kirsi Westerlund’s wife, musician Kurre Westerlund, released a song in memory of his wife.
Kirsi Westerlund (o.s. Syrjänen), crowned the most beautiful in Finland in 1992 died only at the age of 50 at the end of May. Now her husband, musician Kurre Westerlund, has dedicated a song to his wife that has been released on Youtube and Spotify. The lyrics of the song are sung like this:
I still see you promised it,
This day is not oo goodbye.
Fans have commented on the song to be touched.

Kirsi died of a long-term illness.
We women In an article published by the magazine in 2019, Kurre said that his wife suffered from cancer.
– Treatments are ongoing. I cannot say at what stage we will get more information, but now this is the situation.
The family has not told the public in more detail what cancer it is.
– I get strength from the music itself, when I sing I forget everything else for a moment. And as crazy as it sounds, trips to Vegas have been an important lifeline. Fortunately, my wife has realized that I have to get there in between, Westerlund said.
