In the United States, about 2,060 new coronavirus-related deaths were diagnosed in a day on Thursday, according to a follow-up from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

According to the news agency AFP, this is the highest number of days in three months. According to it, the previous day of more than 2,000 deaths was recorded in early May.

The figure tells the number of new deaths from Wednesday night to Thursday night local time.

More than 58,000 new infections were detected in the country, which is pretty much the same as the daily numbers of recent weeks.

The United States has the highest number of coronavirus infections and deaths in the world. Almost 4.9 million infections have already been diagnosed. About 160,000 people have died.

In Mexico, the number of coronary deaths is already over 50,000

More than 50,000 coronavirus-related deaths have now been reported in Mexico. The country’s health ministry reported more than 800 new cases on Thursday at local time, bringing the country to more than 50,500 coronavirus-related deaths.

Mexico has quantified the third highest number of corona deaths in the world. Only the United States and Brazil are above.

More than 462,600 infections have been reported in countries with more than 128 million inhabitants.

The number of coronavirus infections detected in Africa has exceeded one million, according to AFP news agency.

More than half of the infections in Africa have been diagnosed in South Africa, where more than 8,000 new infections were reported on Thursday alone. In total, more than 538,000 infections have been confirmed in the country. About 9,600 corona-related deaths are known.

South Africa has the fifth highest number of infections in the world. Above are the United States, Brazil, India and Russia.

For example, 95,000 infections have been confirmed in Egypt and 45,000 in Nigeria.

Actual infection rates in Africa are actually believed to be much higher than the number of infections detected. In many countries on the continent, health care is lame and corona testing is limited.

Around 19 million coronavirus infections have been diagnosed worldwide. More than 712,000 corona-related deaths are known, according to a follow-up from Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
