Finnish defender of Carolina Hurricanes Sami Vatanen answered fresh NHL Without a Map in the section on the reader’s question of who is the man’s best pack of pairs in this NHL career.
The Jyväskylä resident’s answer was a rather surprising name from the time of the Anaheim Ducks.
– I played the most in Anaheim Clayton Stonerin with. It was played a little longer and played just fine, Vatanen reveals.
Stoner, who performed in the NHL in eight different seasons, played the last games of his career in 2017-18. It really wasn’t about the actual scoring, as the oversized broom of his own head succeeded in scoring only seven times in his 360 NHL game.
