The Matrixco-director of the film Lilly Wachowski confirmed the speculation. According to him, the film is basically a story about transgenderism.
-I am glad that people are discussing the films, the Matrix movies, trans-sense Wachowski began.
According to the director, many trans people have found the film series a metaphor for transgenderism.
– I’m glad the disclosure and the fact that it was the original intention. The entertainment industry wasn’t ready for that, Wachowski said.
The director still wondered how unsure how much his transgender gender was in his back of his head when he was writing the script.
Lana Wachowski is currently doing a third sequel The Matrixmovies. Includes Original Actors Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss. A new face includes, among other things Neil Patrick Harris.
