Red Bull F1 driver Max Verstappen was pleased with the training day at Silverstone on Friday.
According to Verstappen, the stable tried a lot of different things.
Verstappen was fourth fastest in Friday’s second practice. Both Mersut and Daniel Ricciardo were ahead.
– We did a lot of aerotest testing today on laps when I drove in and out. We tried a lot of different stuff today. I drove a couple more quick laps on it and it felt good, Verstappen said Ziggo Sport F1 Café.
Verstappen was also asked what would happen if the recent update didn’t work.
– If the team believes it is better, then they need to make sure it really is. If it is slower, then it is slower. If it feels worse but is faster, then I will adjust, Verstappen thought.
