Teddi Mellencamp wears a Gucci fanny pack as she hikes with son Cruz and daughter Slate

Teddi Mellencamp added a hint of glamour to her look on Saturday afternoon as she embarked on a hike with her daughter Slate and son Cruz in Studio City. 

The 39-year-old Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star carried her belongings in a beige Gucci fanny pack so she could properly man her dog’s leash.

Mellencamp shielded her face from the sun with a grey cap and she adhered to the city’s mask mandate by sporting a patterned mask over her mouth and nose.

She had on a white tee that featured three black horizontal stripes on the front of it and she slipped her stems into a pair of leggings that had a landscape design.

Teddi’s signature blonde tresses were neatly tied back into a low ponytail, which poked out from underneath her cap.  

Mellencamp’s darling daughter Slate was in charge of manning the family’s other pet Pug.

Slate showed off her personal style in a white skater dress that featured various rainbows, fruit, and eyeglasses on it. 

She also followed in her mother’s footsteps by rocking a pink face mask.

Cruz walked in between his mother and sister, while donning a blue Dinosaur tee, a pair of black shorts, and a cherry patterned mask.

Teddi shares Slate, Cruz, and five-month-old daughter Dove with husband Edwin Arroyave, who she married in 2011. 

Recently, Teddi and Edwin’s youngest daughter suffered from a case of lambdoid craniosynostosis, which required her to undergo surgery.

The condition occurs when the skull’s plates, which are only loosely connected in babies, fuse together too early.

Earlier this week, Dove underwent a successful surgery to repair the condition, which prompted Teddi to marvel over her daughter’s resiliency on Instagram.

‘It’s crazy how resilient kids are. Dove is going into Day 4 post neurosurgery with both eyes open,’ captioned the daughter of John Mellencamp, who shared a black and white video of Dove on Sunday.

‘The swelling went down, she passed all her markers and we have been sent home much earlier than expected. I am so grateful for so many things and feeling really blessed. We love you so much baby Dove and know you are going to live whatever life you dream of,’ she concluded. 

Five days after Dove’s surgery, Teddi’s son Cruz broke his thumb and had to be taken to the hospital.

She documented the trip on Instagram stories, which also happened to occur weeks after her daughter Slate cut off the tip of her finger. 

Despite the injury, Teddi’s son didn’t seem to be in much pain, and he looked happy to show off the green cast he got at the hospital.
