Bachelorette star Jess Glasgow surfaces on a night out with Bachelor In Paradise’s Jamie Doran

He was booted from The Bachelorette after making inappropriate comments towards Angie Kent and several female producers last year.

But disgraced Bachelorette contestant ‘Dirty Jess’ Glasgow, 38, has made his triumphant return to the spotlight by stepping out with Bachelor In Paradise‘s Jamie Doran, 40, in Noosa, Queensland on Monday night.

Jess, who previously clashed with Jamie while they were competing on The Bachelorette last year, uploaded a video to Instagram Stories of the par drinking at a pub together.

In a vision that would surely send chills down Angie’s spine, the men are seen giggling together at a table as a male onlooker remarks: ‘Television’s two least favourite characters… Together, in one spot!’

The men were joined by a female friend named Sarah-Jane, who popped her head into frame and remarked: ‘Realistically, they’ve been tarnished. Reality TV is reality TV!’

Indeed, both men have received significant backlash from viewers over their behaviour on the Channel 10 franchise.

Jamie was slammed on social media for his ‘clinger’ antics on the Bachelorette last year, after he took it upon himself to warn Angie about contestants who weren’t ‘genuine’.

He received similar backlash for his behaviour on Bachelor In Paradise, including his infamous meltdown over ‘best friend’ Timm Hanley quitting the show.

Last week, the former firefighter announced that he even plans to sue Channel 10 over his negative portrayal on the Fiji-based dating show.

Meanwhile, Jess received signifiant backlash for his behaviour on The Bachelorette, after he was caught on camera flirting with producers and making distasteful remarks to Angie during a group date.

‘You made me feel uncomfortable. You took it too far. You’re going to have to leave,’ Angie later told him at the cocktail party before dismissing him from the show.

Understandably, Bachelorette viewers lashed out on social media.

In October 2019, the mayor of Noosa, Tony Wellington, called for the councilman to resign immediately.

In a statement Mr Wellington said: ‘With his appearance on the reality TV show The Bachelorette, Councillor Jess Glasgow has revealed behaviour that is totally inappropriate for a Noosa councillor, indeed for any individual.’

‘The behaviour displayed was misogynistic, crude and highly offensive.’

Mr Wellington went on to say that while he legally does not have the authority to remove a sitting councillor, Jess brought the council’s name into ‘disrepute’ and ‘undermined’ its the good reputation.
