Bachelor In Paradise’s Timm Hanly claims contracts will make it difficult for Jamie Doran to sue’

Bachelor In Paradise’s Timm Hanly claims the show’s airtight contracts will make it difficult for co-star Jamie Doran to successfully sue Channel 10 over his ‘clinger’ portrayal

Bachelor In Paradise‘s Timm Hanly has lashed out against the show’s ‘airtight’ contracts, which he claims will make it impossible for his co-star Jamie Doran to successful sue Channel Ten.

Jamie, 40, has now enlisted the aid of lawyer Keith Redenbach [Redenbach Lee Lawyers] after announcing his intention to take legal action against the network and production company Warner Bros. International following his negative portrayal on the show.

However, Timm has expressed concern for his friend while speaking to The Daily Telegraph, claiming that their contact’s fine print allows permission for producers to exploit contestants for entertainment purposes.

‘I don’t know how far he’ll get’: Bachelor In Paradise’s Timm Hanly has lashed out against the show’s ‘airtight’ contracts which he claims will make it impossible for his co-star Jamie Doran to successful sue Channel Ten

Timm told the publication: ‘I don’t know how far [Jamie’s] going to get away with suing, the contracts are pretty tight. They’re pretty much allowed to do what they’ve done.’

The tattooed reality star also spoke about fellow contestant Ciarran Stott’s TV experience as he addressed the ‘rubbish editing’ on the show.

‘They would encourage [Ciarran] to go after different girls. They stitched him up. It was uncomfortable to be there,’ he claimed.

Timm explained that they tried to ‘stitch’ him up to on-screen, but he had his sights focused solely on Brittany Hockley.

‘It wasn’t nice to be there [Fiji], it wasn’t a nice holiday. It was f***ed,’ he fumed.

Timm and Brittany called it quits shortly after returning from Paradise, and he is now happily in love with new girlfriend, Briana De La Motte.

The cast of Bachelor In Paradise contestants are signed to Warner Bros. International, and Daily Mail Australia has contacted the production company for further comment.

Meanwhile, Jamie is gearing up for his legal case against Network Ten and Warner Bros. International.

The former firefighter shared a statement to Instagram earlier this month, explaining why he had decided to call in his lawyers.

He wrote: ‘This is not the news I wanted to post, but I feel I owe this to at least my family, friends, and also fans of The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise.

‘After lengthy consideration, I’ve decided to begin legal proceedings against Network 10 and Warner Bros. Australia.

‘I’m not going to comment on this any further for the time being and would appreciate it if people would respect my privacy.’

In response to Jamie’s legal threat, a network spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Channel 10 has not received any papers regarding this claim.’

Jamie was portrayed as a ‘stage-five clinger’ on Bachelor In Paradise this season, and received a similar edit on The Bachelorette last year.
