Fans of The Bachelor are convinced that fiery contestant Zoe-Clare McDonald was ‘too drunk’ to attend the inaugural rose ceremony during Wednesday night’s  premiere.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts, after it was claimed that the redhead had become too ‘ill’ to join Locky Gilbert and her co-stars at the eviction. 

‘Zoe-Clare got too p***ed to stand straight in the rose ceremony,’ one fan tweeted.

Another added: ‘Zoe has her head in the toilet so she can’t attend the rose ceremony.’  

Another fan joked that Zoe-Clare ‘passed out’ before the rose ceremony so couldn’t make it. 

Another joked after her meltdown on the show: ‘Zoe went to Priceline to get a bottle of hair dye instead of going to the rose ceremony.’

‘To me, it’s disrespectful. If she wants to act the child, that’s fine,’ she told producers. 

For no apparent reason, she came to the conclusion that the other women didn’t like her because of her hair colour.

She continued: ‘I’m the only redhead in the whole entire house… The only colours are blonde or brunette, and then there’s me. I think that’s exactly why Areeba is targeting me. It’s the red hair. It’s just…it’s not appropriate.

‘What’s wrong with a ranga? Yeah. Do you want me to dye my hair every 10 seconds because you don’t like my colour? I’m so sorry, but this is natural, guys. It’s not going anywhere.’

Her tearful monologue confused many viewers because nobody had mentioned the colour of her hair.
