She impressed Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert with her sexy moves and high-kicks during Wednesday’s season premiere of The Bachelor.

But Nicole Campbell’s career as a professional dancer almost came to an abrupt end last year when she suffered a devastating injury.

The 26-year-old said her ‘heart was broken’ after ‘one roll of a stupid ankle’ risked shattering two decades of training and auditions.

Throughout her career, Nicole has worked for Princess Cruises and in Los Angeles.

The ankle injury in 2019 caused a lot of heartache for Nicole, who credits her friends and family with helping her get through a ‘tough year’ with ‘multiple breakdowns’.

Nicole was not able to dance for eight months as she went though physiotherapy to recover from her multiple torn ligaments.

She said the injury was so bad she ‘almost needed surgery’, and couldn’t work at all for a few months.  

Thankfully, Nicole says thinks are looking up and she’s ‘worked her butt off to be back dancing and teaching’.  

Nicole is a dance teacher for Sydney’s Classique Dance and is represented by Dargie Entertainment.   

The vibrant brunette proved her ankle was as strong as ever on Wednesday night’s premiere – which was filmed in February – as she twirled, high-kicked and performed the famous Dirty Dancing lift with Locky at the cocktail party.

The special treatment has already made some of her rivals envious.

Marketing coordinator Laura Calleri, 24, were seen fuming, claiming: ‘I can be in the same f**king outfit and do a high kick. Do I literally need to make some big f**king song and dance to get some time with him [Locky]?’
