Former Corrie star Katherine Kelly SPLITS from husband Ryan Clark as they make ‘difficult’ decision to separate after seven years of marriage

  • Katherine, 40, and her husband Ryan have decided to go their separate ways
  • The couple met in 2011 before tying the knot two years later in Las Vegas
  • They are parents to their two daughters Orla, six, and Rose, three
  • In pictures obtained by the Sun Katherine was seen moving out of their North London home earlier this week 

Katherine Kelly has split from her husband of seven years.

The former Coronation Street star, 40, and her Australian IT consultant husband Ryan Clark have made the ‘difficult’ decision to go their separate ways.

Katherine and Ryan met nine years ago and wed two years later in a ceremony in Las Vegas, before welcoming two daughters Orla, six, and Rose, three.

According to the Sun, Katherine was seen moving out of her North London home earlier this week, as removal men helped her move belongings from the property.

It is believed that they are selling the property and Katherine will relocate to Barnsley in order to be closer to her family.  

A spokesman confirmed the split to the publication and said: ‘Katherine and Ryan have made the difficult decision to separate.

‘They see it as a positive move for both of them and the separation is completely amicable.

‘Their children are their top priority and they will continue to co-parent as good friends.’ 

An insider told the publication that their decision wasn’t made lightly and it isn’t anything to do with the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.

They added that they are on great terms and will continue to be in touch in order to co-parent their two children.

MailOnline have contacted representatives for comment. 

Katherine previously touched on her life as a working mum during a Good Morning Britain interview, where she said she’d found it a challenge juggling work, parenting and finding time to watch TV’s hottest shows.

She added: ‘I’m all or nothing completely, I just can’t seem to watch it any other way now.

‘My kids are two and four, sleep is really important to me at the moment, I love Succession and Russian Doll and Flack.’
