She’s ready to start filming in Byron Bay for her new $100million series Nine Perfect Strangers.

And on Friday, Nicole Kidman and the cast and crew took part in a traditional ‘Welcome to Country’ ceremony before the cameras start rolling.

The 53-year-old movie star shared two touching images of the ritual to her Instagram.

‘Feeling so honoured to have just participated in a Welcome to Country ceremony for Nine Perfect Strangers,’ she captioned the post.

In one image, the redhead stood in line with the team behind the Hulu TV series as they all donned surgical face masks.

Nicole glanced up into the sky as she watched the smoke dance between the trees.
