A bride was slammed online after ranting about guests who said they would not attend her wedding because of COVID-19.
The unnamed US-based bride had shared a screenshot of a friend’s answer to an RSVP, where they told her they didn’t want to attend gatherings.
Annoyed at the friend’s decision, she said she didn’t care about any of her guests except her fiance and said she had the right to be annoyed, as her wedding was ‘her day.’
Her rant was shared on the That’s It, I’m Wedding Shaming group on Facebook, where she was called an ‘a******’ for reaction this way.
Another bride spotted the message in a wedding preparation group and shared it to the shaming group, saying she found it entitled.

The bride doubled-down and said she had the right to be angry at people because her wedding was ‘her day’
‘I recently joined a wedding group specific to the month and year I’m getting married in,’ she explained.
‘This is one of the VERY entitled posts I’ve seen in the past two days,’ she wrote, sharing the screenshots.
In the post, the angry bride started: ‘I know I’m emotional and moody as HELL right now.’
‘But this is the c*** that ticks me off… You don’t need to tell me ‘I’m not attending gatherings right now’… JUST DECLINE.’
The bride’s rant was spotted by a fellow bride-to-be, who said she found her ‘very entitled’ for ranting about her guests

The bride then got into an argument in the comment section, saying she did not care about anybody else than her future husband and herself
Showcasing some level of self-awareness, she signed off: ‘a seriously annoyed (perhaps too annoyed) Covid bride.’
The post did not go down well for the bride, wjo dug herself into an even deeper hole when another member of the group tried to talk her down.
‘It’s a weird time. I think it’s a valid reasonable though maybe a bit abrasive,’ they offered.
‘You can’t be angry at people for saying no during a pandemic,’ they added.
People said the bride was entitled, as some quipped someone’s wedding day was not a coronation
However, the angry bride doubled-down and said she had every right to be angry, as her wedding was ‘her day.’
‘I literally don’t care about the people,’ the angry bride retorted. ‘I care about my future husband and I that we will be married, that’s it.’
After the post was shared on the Wedding Shaming group, many people observed the bride-to-be was being entitled.
‘The phrase ‘It’s MY day’ makes me want to reflexively punch brides in the face. Get over yourself,’ one said.
