The Bachelorette: Tayshia Adams is seen on set for the first time after replacing Clare Crawley

Tayshia Adams has been pictured for the very first time on set of the much-anticipated season 16 of The Bachelorette

The 29-year-old contestant – who first appeared in season 23 of The Bachelor, alongside Colton Underwood – is gearing up to take over from Clare Crawley, and looked stunning as she strutted comfortably around crew members.

California-native Tayshia showed off her impressive physique in a turquoise bikini with a white sarong around her waist, and was seen all mic’d up while camera crews got ready to film footage from the show.

Tayshia looked to be in deep conversation with a hair and makeup person and another crew member as she filmed scenes from the upcoming series.

News of Tayshia becoming the star of the show was first revealed earlier this month, after Clare’s engagement to Dale Moss came to light.

Clare, 39, is said to have quit the show after her engagement, though she recently appeared in the 15-second promo for the series, while Tayshia did not.

‘One of her potential guys found a way to get in touch with her and they began talking,’ an insider said.

‘By the time filming officially began, they were basically already in love. No one else stood a chance. It just became so obvious from her subsequent few dates that her heart wasn’t in it and she just wasn’t feeling it. Then she said she wanted out.’

According to Life & Style, Clare was so smitten with Dale that she threatened to ‘quit the show after only 12 days of filming’ because she had ‘already fallen in love’ with the former NFL player.

‘She told producers she no longer wanted to participate in the show,’ the source told Life & Style, and even ‘refused to come out of her room’ during filming, which began in early July.

Producers were said to be ‘blindsided’ by the situation and were ‘scrambling to figure out what to do.’

But it looks like the brains behind Bachelor Nation have figured out a fix.

‘Tayshia was game and ready to go,’ a source tells PEOPLE. ‘What remains to be seen is if more men will be brought in now to give Tayshia a full roster of suitors.’

Meanwhile producers are reportedly reaching out to backup contestants on the show, according to Us Weekly.

Bachelor In Paradise favorite Demi Burnett shared her theory about who was stepping in for Clare during an Instagram Live chat with Reality Steve this past Friday, saying all signs pointed to pal Tayshia.

‘What the f**k is going on with your friend Tayshia?’ Reality Steve asked Demi during their Friday talk.

The reality star said she was ‘not in the loop’ since she had been on vacation, but she admitted to trying to text her friend, though none of her messages went through.
