The Bachelor‘s Locky Gilbert dropped a major spoiler about the show on Monday.
In a since-deleted Instagram comment, the 31-year-old confirmed that he was ‘madly in love’ with the show’s winner and that they were ‘still together’.
His bold declaration was in response to a skeptical Bachelor fan who’d asked Locky if he was being ‘fake’ or ‘acting’ on screen.

The fan’s comment was posted underneath a birthday tribute to Locky on The Bachelor’s official Instagram page.
‘Cheers happy b’day,’ they wrote.
‘Just hope you’re not fake! Been reading in magazines the whole show is fake! If it’s true, I don’t like it because you are playing with innocent victims unless you are all acting!’

According to betting company Sportsbet, the current front-runners to win The Bachelor are Irena Srbinovska ($1.60) and Bella Varelis ($2.85).
It comes after a Perth-based mother of two told Woman’s Day that she had dated Locky before he signed on to the Channel 10 reality show.
Charlie Octavia, 28, said she’d been close to falling in love with the former Australian Survivor star before they called things off and he resurfaced on The Bachelor.

While they had romantic chemistry, Charlie said she was ‘glad’ she didn’t fall for Locky.
But their break-up wasn’t too bad, as Locky reportedly kept in touch with Charlie when he was filming The Bachelor.
At one stage during production earlier this year, he even sent his ex a friendly selfie from the Bachelor mansion.
The photo showed him sitting in front of a fireplace that coincidentally was used as the backdrop to one of his dates with Irena.

‘To be as intimate as we were, then see Locky on TV tying to win the hearts of so many other women was surreal,’ Charlie said.
It comes after Charlie told Daily Mail Australia in March: ‘I do know Locky, but he was never my boyfriend.’
Earlier this month, Locky unleashed on his exes for coming out of the woodwork after he was announced as the Bachelor in March.
‘All these girls are coming out, I am not too sure why they are coming out, they just want their time in the sun,’ he told the Herald Sun.
