The Bachelor fans are left furious after ANOTHER episode features one long cocktail party

Wednesday night’s episode of The Bachelor saw yet another drama filled cocktail party take up the majority of the screen time. 

And viewers were quick to share their disappointment as they flocked to Twitter to complain. 

Many users were baffled by the amount of time spent on the cocktail party and questioned if there would be any dates with hunky Bachelor, Locky Gilbert, featured in the episode. 

‘So they’re really doing it, they’re really making the whole episode the cocktail party/rose ceremony,’ one fan wrote. 

Another commented: ‘Does this show not have dates and activities anymore? We’ve wasted 2hrs of our lives on this one cocktail party!’ 

A third said: ‘If this cocktail party takes up the entire episode, we riot.’  

Even former Bachelorette star Georgia Love weighed in asking: ‘Is Locky…in this episode?’ 

However some users suggested that they may be dragging out the content as they were unable to film during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

‘I think they hadn’t filmed long before they got shutdown for Covid so they’re stretching it out. They did zoom dates during lockdown but I think they’re going to cram those into one or two episodes only,’ wrote one user. 

The Channel 10 dating show threw fans a curveball at the end of the episode when it featured a single date between Locky and Irena Srbinovska after the rose ceremony. 

The 30-year-old Survivor star took the Melbourne-based beauty on an innuendo-filled fencing date. 

‘I’m sure it’ll be fun getting poked around with Locky’s sword today,’ Irena giggled in the scene. 

There’s now little doubt that Irena wins Locky’s heart on The Bachelor, after the pair shared intense chemistry all throughout Wednesday’s episode.

The 31-year-old nurse’s Sportsbet odds were slashed again overnight – from $1.60 to $1.50 – while those of her closest rival Bella Varelis lengthened from $2.85 to $3.25.

The Bachelor continues Thursday 7:30pm on Channel 10.
