Fans believe Madonna wants Ozark’s Julia Garner to play her in rumored biopic… after she and manager Guy Oseary follow her on Instagram

She is rumored to be working on a biopic of her own life, after dropping some not-so-subtle hints on her Instagram, while writing a new script with screenwriter Diablo Cody.

Now Madonna has got fans buzzing about who will play her in the role, after she followed Julia Garner on Instagram – known for her breakout role on Ozark – on Instagram.

However, Madonna’s longtime manager Guy Oseary also followed the rising star on the same day, prompting further speculation.

Who’s That Girl? Fans believe Madonna wants Ozark’s Julia Garner to play her in rumored biopic… as she follows her on Instagram on Friday

Just this week, Madonna herself said she and Diablo needed a ‘s*** hot’ casting director, as she spoke about who would play who in the film, saying ‘how are we going to cast this thing?’

‘Madonna started following Julia Garner on Instagram! Maybe she is considering her for the biopic,’ one fan wrote, while another Madonna fan pledged: ‘Julia Garner needs to play Madonna in her Biopic.’

While she hasn’t made it official, Madonna has left more than enough hints for fans to see that she is working on a movie script that is at least inspired by her legendary life.

Over the past few months, she has been going through old journals from her past, and pulling things from her vaults as she sits down regularly with Diablo, who won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay for 2008’s Juno.

Through her quirky Instagram videos, fans have seen Madonna look over old vintage photographs of herself as well as memorabilia.

The pop icon has even been heard on her Instagram Stories discussing The Blonde Ambition Tour from 1990, while hashing out the script.

In 2017, Madonna famously revealed her disdain at a planned film project about her life titled Blond Ambition, by screenwriter Elyse Hollander.

It seems that the Material Girl has now taken the if-you-can’t-beat-em-join-em approach, by working on a movie herself.
