Tamzin Outhwaite’s late mother’s ‘irreplaceable’ coat has been stolen

Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed that she is ‘devastated’ after her mother’s ‘irreplaceable’ coat was stolen by thieves.

The EastEnders star, 49, revealed that her car was broken into at 1am on Friday while she slept and personal items had been stolen from her boot, including the item of clothing she inherited from her mother. 

Tamzin  revealed that she had left a large suitcase in her boot packed full of clothing and accessories for an upcoming shoot.

Thieves then broke into her vehicle in the middle of the night, stealing her mother’s beloved Jaeger coat and other valuable items.

Tamzin said to her Twitter followers: ‘So at 1am I was woken by my car alarm going off. 

‘I had left a large suitcase in the boot, packed full of clothes, shoes, accessories & jewellery ready for a very early start this morning.  

 ‘I was supposed to be doing a favour for a friend on their creative project & my case was full of carefully selected outfits for a full day on this project today. 

‘Yes I called the police, & they were helpful, but I keep waking up remembering what was in the case. I am devastated. 

‘Yes my favourite clothes & shoes, but my mum’s favourite Jaeger coat that I have inherited.’ 

Her mother tragically passed away suddenly in 2018, so the coat holds sentimental value and is a fond reminder of her late parent.  

She added: ‘It was unique & irreplaceable. As soon as I realised the noise was MY car alarm I was out the door driving around looking for someone dragging a very heavy case but nothing.

‘I know I should not have left it in the boot, even though it was locked but I thought I was being well prepared. 

‘Anyway. I’m gutted. If anyone sees a leopard print,beautiful Jaeger coat in a 10 & a bunch of other clothes…please report it. Thank you.

‘I can’t sleep as I keep remembering what was in the case. Nothing compares to the Jaeger coat , which I think of my mum wearing when I think of her. 

‘I know she would have said “Tam they are just things. Possessions. Don’t worry” but I’m devastated.’ 

While she comes to terms with the sad robbery, Tamzin is also reportedly preparing for the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Outta Here!

According to reports, Tamzin and ex-strictly star AJ Pritchard will join this year’s lineup which is set to take place in a ruined castle in Wales, due to filming and travel restrictions surrounding the show’s usual location, the Australian jungle.
