Steve Jacobs’ ex-wife Rosie goes Instagram official with her boyfriend of 10 months

She’s smitten! Steve Jacobs’ ex-wife Rosie goes Instagram official with her boyfriend of ten months – as the pair enjoy the ‘most epic trip’ to a ski resort

Rosie Jacobs has shared her first picture on social media with her boyfriend of ten months, Alex Daly.

The 41-year-old ex-wife of former Today show weatherman Steve Jacobs proudly told her Instagram followers the pair had just returned from a skiing holiday at the Thredbo resort in the NSW Snowy Mountains.

In the photo, Rosie beamed with happiness as she posed on the slopes next to Alex, and described their holiday as the ‘most epic trip’.

Rosie wrote in the caption: ‘Bye bye ski season, hello summer! Despite this being the year of 2020, we still managed to have the most epic trip! #flashback.’

The couple have been dating for about 10 months.

Alex is the same man that Rosie was pictured kissing back in March, but this is the first time she has shared a photo of the lovebirds on social media.

Prior to dating Alex, Rosie was linked to retired AFL footballer Matt Shir, but the pair went through a tumultuous split in January.

Recently, Rosie revealed she was battling a health issue which had caused her appearance to change quite dramatically.

She told News.com.au she’d decided to cut her long brunette hair after contracting dengue fever while living in Vanuatu with her family.

‘When I was living in Vanuatu, I unfortunately contracted dengue fever, which is something that is similar to malaria. It’s a mosquito-born virus that’s really common in tropical environments,’ said the mother of two.

‘The reason I cut my hair initially was that I actually had a health situation which most people don’t know about.’

Rose explained it was much easier to maintain shorter locks and feel comfortable due to Vanuatu’s soaring temperatures.

‘I was extremely unwell for a period of time,’ she added.

The former TV presenter had relocated from Sydney to Vanuatu in 2017 with her then-husband Steve, in a ‘last-ditch’ attempt to save their marriage.

But they ended up splitting a few months later, and Rosie went on to have a string of short-lived relationships.
