Nadia Bartel reveals she is ‘at peace’ following her split with ex-husband Jimmy

Nadia Bartel’s shock split from AFL star Jimmy caught many by surprise.

And more than a year on, the former WAG, 35, has revealed she is now ‘at peace,’ following the end of their marriage.

She told The Herald Sun on Saturday that she used her time at home during Melbourne‘s strict COVID lockdown to slow down, focus of her health and fitness, as well as her two young sons Aston, four, and Henley, one. 

‘I think it’s been really a nice time to refocus and just almost sit and be at peace with things and just focus on that,’ she said.  

The fashion designer, who runs the successful label Henne, also revealed that she and Jimmy have a co-parenting schedule in place for their young boys.

‘They spend time with Jim for one night a week and then another day, so they see him for a few days, and on those days it’s sort of handy because I can obviously get all my work done but apart from that they’ve been with me the entire time,’ she said. 

Meanwhile, the sale of the home she once shared with the former AFL star, in the affluent Melbourne suburb of St Kilda West, has been delayed.

The current COVID situation has meant that there have been no property viewings allowed.

‘So obviously no one’s looked through the house in a very long time, but we are selling the house,’ she said.

It comes after Nadia was recently spotted out with her ‘new boyfriend’ Nathan Brodie.

The pair was first seen together last month while out for a run through Melbourne’s Albert Park. 

Jimmy has also moved on with office worker Lauren Mand. They were first pictured as a couple in August 2019.

Nadia and Jimmy announced their separation on August 15 last year, but they are believed to have actually split two months prior.

They share custody of two children, sons Aston, four, and Henley, one.

The pair married in February 2014 in a lavish ceremony on the Bellarine Peninsula.
