Lenny Kravitz on his engagement with Australian actress Nicole Kidman

His engagement to Australian actress Nicole Kidman seemingly went under the radar until she spoke about it in 2017.

And it seems like Lenny Kravitz won’t be giving up details about on their romance in his newly released first memoir, Let Love Rule – at least, not yet.

Because the book covers his first 25 years, it doesn’t include Nicole, 53 – nor his other high profile relationships, including Kylie Minogue or Madonna, but the American musician, 56, says a second book might.

‘I’ve always been very open and honest’: Lenny Kravitz keeps coy on his engagement with Australian actress Nicole Kidmam, as well as relationships with Kylie Minogue and Madonna, in his new memoir Let Love Rule – but he may spill it all in a second book

In interview with The Sunday Telegraph’s Stellar magazine he said: ‘Ha! I’ve always been very open and honest, so anything that happened in my life will be in there.’

‘But it’ll be a while before the next book,’ he added.

Lenny dated Nicole from 2002 to 2003, and during that time they were engaged.

The Academy award winning actress revealed their engagement in 2017 during an interview with The Edit in which she discussed working with Lenny’s daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz, who he shares with ex-wife Lisa Bonnet.

Nicole, who worked with Zoë in the series Big Little Lies, said at the time: ‘Well, I knew Zoë because I was engaged to her father. It’s all in the family! I love Lenny; he’s a great guy.’

Conversely, Lenny also spoke positively about Nicole and Zoë’s relationship with Mr Porter that same year.

He said: ‘Nicole is amazing… Zoë and she hadn’t spent time together since she was younger, since Nicole and I were together, so that was great.’

Lenny also discussed his close and good relationship with ex-wife Lisa and her husband, actor Jason Momoa.

Lenny’s Memoir, Let Love Rule, will focus on the first 25 years of his life and explained that he wanted he wanted the story to delve deeper into his journey and finding his voice.
