Life continued its slow return to normal on Wednesday as Rachel Weisz visited a dentist in New York City

With businesses previously closed at the height of lockdown now open and accepting customers, the British actress was seen attending an appointment at a local surgery.

Opting for a comfortable knitted sweater and low-slung jeans, Rachel, 50, caught the eye as she made her way back onto the street later that day.

The actress added to her look with a pair of chocolate suede boots, while a large tan leather shoulder bag rounded things off.

In accordance with current health and safety guidelines she covered her face with a protective mask while making her way across the sidewalk.

Rachel is based in New York with her husband, James Bond star Daniel Craig, and their two-year old daughter.

Daniel will be seen next in No Time To Die, his fifth and final outing as Bond, which has been delayed multiple times and is now scheduled for an April 2021 release.

Meanwhile Rachel is scheduled to have a blockbuster of her own coming out next year after it too was delayed.

She will star with Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh in Black Widow, which takes place before the events of the most recent Avengers films and is expected to pass on the torch to Florence’s character.

Rachel got a surge of critical praise when she starred in the Oscar winning period black comedy The Favourite with Emma Stone and Olivia Colman.

The film currently holds a 93 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and Colman won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

In 2107 Rachel also won accolades for Disobedience, in which she and Rachel McAdams played lesbian ultra-Orthodox Jews struggling against the moral codes of their community.
