Robert Irwin recreates Fleetwood Mac ‘Dreams’ viral TikTok video

‘Couldn’t help myself!’ Wildlife Warrior Robert Irwin is the latest celebrity to drink cranberry juice and ride a skateboard to the strains of the Fleetwood Mac classic ‘Dreams’

Robert Irwin is the latest celebrity to recreate the viral Fleetwood Mac ‘Dreams’ challenge video.

On Sunday, the 16-year-old Australian wildlife warrior filmed his own take on the clip made famous by TikTok sensation Nathan Apodaca, who is know by the username @420doggface208 on the social media platform. 

In a video shared to Instagram, Robert is seen skateboarding past Australia Zoo while drinking cranberry juice, miming to the 1977 hit.

He captioned the footage: ‘Couldn’t help myself!’

Nathan’s version blew up on TikTok with over 20 million streams.

Singer Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood, drummer and founders of the legendary rock band Fleetwood Mac, recently paid homage to the clip.

Dr. Phil, Cheech & Chong, Jimmy Fallon and Courteney Cox are also among the famous stars to recreate the video.

In June, Robert surprised fans when he revealed yet another secret talent – painting.

In the clip, shared to Australia Zoo’s YouTube account, Robert explained that he wanted to try his hand at oil painting after feeling inspired by American artist Bob Ross.

He decided to document the process to ‘add pressure’ – before sharing the results with his followers.

Dressed in his iconic khaki uniform, Robert, who is the son of late zookeeper and TV personality Steve Irwin, is seen painting the blue and orange background before adding a forest of trees in front of a picturesque mountain.

‘I had an idea for what I wanted it to look like. But that completely went out the window,’ he explained.

Robert continued: ‘I rolled with it and yet ended up looking pretty nice.’
