An emotional Roxy Jacenko quits SAS Australia after just six hours

Monday’s premiere episode of SAS Australia saw all of the show’s celebrities being punished after Firass Dirani disrespected the Special Forces instructors.

Unimpressed with the 37-year-old actor’s attitude, the instructors made the celebrities submerge themselves in freezing cold water as punishment.

But an emotional Roxy Jacenko refused to get into the water, and instead told the instructors that she wanted off the show.

Quitting: An emotional Roxy Jacenko told the instructors that she wanted off the show during Monday’s premiere episode of SAS Australia

‘I can’t do it. I actually can’t… My leg’s killing me. I can’t do it,’ the 40-year-old told the instructors as she handed over her armband.

Despite being asked if she was ‘100 per cent sure’, Roxy insisted she couldn’t do it, before breaking down in tears.

‘It’s so f**king painful. I don’t want to give up…’ she cried, as the instructor described her decision to leave as ‘unfortunate’.

The PR queen only lasted six hours on the challenging series, before deciding to quit after finding it ‘too demanding’.

‘What a disaster,’ she admitted, as she continued to cry.

She later added: ‘I’ve always had the mindset of take every opportunity that comes your way. But people think that I can’t or won’t, or wouldn’t expect it. And that’s been every single thing that I’ve done…

‘But for me, it doesn’t matter what everybody else thinks, it doesn’t matter if you get to day 12 or day two, the fact that I’ve actually taken the punt to do it with determination and grit no matter what, that’s enough for me.’

One of their first assignments on the show involved the cast jumping out of a helicopter into the water below while fully clothed.

They were then taken over to some rocks and instructed to ‘get changed, as quick as you can’.

Forced to change in front of each other out in the open, the women had no choice but to pull on their bras in front of their fellow comrades.

And there were plenty of bare bottoms on show, as the celebrities pulled on dry underpants, while trying in vain to protect their modesty.

In a sensational moment, the 23-year-old AFLW player challenged the former Bachelor star to a fight.

The show’s celebrity contestants appeared stunned by the development as a hesitant Nick, 33, stepped forward.

But despite his initial hesitation to fight Sabrina, Nick didn’t hold anything back, punching his opponent ferociously.

A series of rusty basins were set up for the show’s stars to wash in, and outhouse-style toilets provided little privacy.

They were then shown where they’d be sleeping, as they were led into a barn-style room with a dirt floor and rows of stretcher beds.

Later in the episode, Schapelle Corby was reduced to tears while talking about her nine-year stint in a Balinese prison.

After being ‘impressed with her mental resilience’, the show’s instructors decided to sit down with the 43-year-old convicted drug smuggler to learn more about her.

‘I suffered. I started to have mental illness really bad in 2008, and I lived in psychosis for four years,’ she revealed of her time in prison, while wiping away tears.
