This Morning’s Josie Gibson is BITTEN by a pig

Josie Gibson got more than she bargained for when she was BITTEN by a pig, while telling viewers they are good for helping with stress relief.

The This Morning presenter, 35, told hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes that pigs are a calming influence as she crouched down and tried to brush one.

However rather than calming her down, the pig nipped at Josie and she shouted ‘ow!’ before doing it a second time when she tried to carry on petting it.

However Josie, who was telling viewers about a new competition during the chaotic segment, assured them that it didn’t hurt when the pig bit her hand.

A different person wrote” Josie made Harry the big farmer blush when she said she likes a cuddle #ThisMorning.’

While another playfully quipped: ‘Is Josie gonna be doing the final competition segment live while she’s getting her tetanus shot?’

After going back to Josie at the farm, she asked a farmer: ‘Why didn’t you tell me they bite?’

Josie later revealed she was much happier to be surrounded by a group of harmless piglets after the biting incident.

She let everyone know ‘it didn’t hurt’, although she joked that she was now much happier to be surrounded by piglets than the big ones who bit her minutes earlier.

Josie has her fair share of hilariously unfortunate moments during her presenting segments on the morning magazine show.

Last month, Josie was left in hysterics when she tried out glassblowing for the first time which led to unintentionally hilarious results.

She enjoyed a holiday in Loch Ness, Scotland, during the edition of This Morning when she decided to visit a glass factory in town.

Delighted at being able to try out the hobby, Josie accidentally made a phallic-shaped vase after blowing on the glass with gusto.

Before she made the amusing decoration, Josie explained to viewers: ‘The technique of glassblowing has been around for over 2000 years.

‘That flame is 4000 degrees Fahrenheit, and when you heat the glass you can start blowing it to make different shapes.’

She burst out laughing when she saw her phallic-shaped vase, as she joked: ‘That’s an interesting shape isn’t it?’

The professional glass blower, who was also in hysterics, praised Josie by saying: ‘That’s the most perfect bubble I’ve seen in a long time, I love it.’
