Faye Brookes enjoys break from Dancing On Ice as she steps out with her boyfriend Joe Davies

She’s been keeping busy on the rink as she prepares for her stint on next year’s Dancing On Ice.

But Faye Brookes enjoyed a brief break from gruelling training for the show as she stepped out with her personal trainer boyfriend Joe Davies in Manchester on Tuesday morning.

The former Coronation Street star, 33, looked loved-up with the fitness instructor as they held hands following a workout session at Barry’s Bootcamp.

Cutting a casual figure, the actress teamed a black and grey Ivy Park top top with pale pink running tights.

The soap star kept warm in the chilly climes by wearing a shiny padded jacket, and rounded off her appearance with white trainers. 

Joe, who has been dating the ex-Kate Connor actress for a year, looked equally low-key in a classic black tracksuit by Nike, which he styled with light sports shoes. 

Earlier this month, Dancing On Ice confirmed Faye would be paired with pro skater Hamish Gaman for the competition. 

In a post on their official Instagram page, the thespian and skating champion Hamish, 37, were described as the ‘next skating dream team’ as they posed together on the ice.  

Several Dancing On Ice stars have been put though their paces by a team of professional skaters – including Winter Olympics stars Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Brunette beauty Faye will battle it out for the top prize against the likes of WAG Rebekah Vardy, presenter Myleene Klass and reality star Billie Faiers. 

On joining the line-up, the TV star said on a recent episode of Lorraine: ‘I’m so excited! We had to review the basics, we were filmed too.

‘The producers get to know you and this is the first time I think people are just going to see me, not being a character… Just being me – Faye!’

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will once again return to present the show and the expert panel of Jane, Christopher, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo will all resume their roles as judges.
