Taking to Instagram, the singer penned: ‘Thank you so much @prettylittlething & @umarkamani for making my birthday so amazing ! Stay tuned to see what we have in store #PLTGotYou.’

It’s been an exciting month for the star and earlier in October Doja dropped jaws with a Cabaret-style performance at the Billboard Music Awards in LA.

The singer delivered a sizzling medley of her songs Juicy, Say So and Like That during the socially-distanced show.

She channelled both Liza Minnelli in Cabaret and Renee Zellweger in Chicago in a performance suffused with tributes to musicals.

Doja was in particular giving a nod to the legendary songwriting team of Fred Ebb and John Kander who scored both Cabaret and Chicago.

She slipped into a glittering silver dress with flapper fringe that was strikingly similar to the one Renee wore in the number Roxie.

While she sang Juicy, the song title was on display behind her in Art Deco lights just like the ones that spelled out ‘ROXIE’ during that number in Chicago.

In a visual touch unmistakably reminiscent of the movie, Doja can be seen strutting her stuff onstage in front of multiple screens showing identical footage of her.

Renee did the same thing in Chicago while performing Roxie, only for the mirrors to vanish and her reflections to be replaced by male dancers in suits.

Even Doja’s red hairdo was somewhat redolent of the blonde style Renee had as Roxie, and there were dialogue nods to Chicago as well.
