Alison Hammond delighted fans by taking over This Morning and presenting the daytime show for the first time ever.
Alison, 45, beamed as she announced she would be presenting and was the guest-editor of today’s show in a hilarious intro putting the spotlight on the elusive filming and producing crew of the show on the London set.
Before she was joined by her co-host Dermot O’Leary, Alison redecorated the set with cushions of her face, and dressed the crew in ‘Team Alison’ t-shirt, saying the show would be all about her.
Viewers said they could not get enough of Alison’s happy demeanour.
This comes a day after Loose Women had their first ever all-black panel yesterday.

‘This is my moment, today I’m taking over the show in front, and behind the camera. I’m guest editor, let’s do this,’ Alison said in a punchy intro that saw her confidently walk into the This Morning
The funny clip saw the presenter taking over all aspects of the show, jokingly bossing the crew around.
‘So Harry, great ideas but I have a few changes for the show,’ she could be seen saying to one of the producers jas a long list of amendments fell on her lap
‘We’re gonna start with camera angles,’ she added.

In another shot, she could be seen gleefully plastering stickers of her face on pictures of Phil and Holly in one of the This Morning corridors.
The intro then moved on to Alison instructing the filming crew to keep all the cameras on her.
‘When it comes to the camera shots today, I want you to focus on me, close-ups, zooms, wides must be on me,’ she said.
She redecorated the set with Alison cushions and cameras showed the crew wearing t-shirts printed with her face
The titles of the show were in on the joke and were all related to Alison’s takeover, This Morning then opened with a beaming Alison seating on the couch.

‘I am doing the show, it’s all about me,’ she said, tongue-in-cheek, before adding: ‘Obviously I’m guest-editing the show today so I’m making myself the star of the show.’

She was eve eventually joined by Dermot O’Leary, who jokingly asked ‘who signed off on this,’ as he appeared.
Fans were delighted to see Alison take over the show and getting the recognition she deserved.
‘Anything goes when Alison is on,’ one said.
‘I wish we could have Alison Hammond guest editing every Friday. Yes Dermot every Friday should be Alison day,’ one said.
‘Alison Hammond is giving me life hosting This Morning,’ said another.
‘What is there not to love about Alison Hammond,’ one said.

One noted that it was great to see Dermot and Alison hosting together, after she had been a contestant on BB3 when O’Leary was hosting.
‘It’s incredible to me that Alison Hammond was a contestant on BB3 woth Dermot as a host, and now she’s hosting ALONGSIDE HIM on This Morning, WE LOVE TO SEE IT,’ said another.

The morning programme bought together presenter Charlene White, 40, with comedian Judi Love, 40, actress Kelle Bryan, 41, and singer Brenda Edwards, 51, for the panel.
The line-up was teased ahead of the show as Charlene White spoke with This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about the upcoming debates on the programme.
Viewers were blown away by the diverse panel, which bought four black women together for the first time in the show’s 20 year history, with one commenting: ‘Not one, but FOUR BLACK WOMEN on today’s panel? We love to see it! Come through with the representation!’
It comes after ITV bosses found themselves at the centre of a race controversy when just one non-white anchor appeared on the channel during one day last October.
