Denise Richards, 49, continues to look glum while in Spain to promote her series Glow And Darkness

Denise Richards has been in Madrid, Spain this week to promote her new TV project Glow And Darkness.

At the press call, the former Real Housewife Of Beverly Hills star looked glum as she posed with costars Joan Collins and Jane Seymour.

And on Monday the former Playboy cover girl – who will turn 50-years-old in four months – looked downcast yet again as she stepped out of her hotel.

Layered up: Denise Richards, 49, stepped out of her hotel in Madrid on Monday on the way to a conference for new TV project Glow and Darkness

The actress wore a face mask making it impossible to see if she was smiling or not, but her eyes seemed to spell out her mood.

She cut her usual casual figure as she started her day. Preparing for a long day of appearances, Denise opted for maximum comfort. Denise rocked a pair of white sweatpants and a matching white sweatshirt which she tied around her waist as she anticipated a chilly day on set.

Continuing to layer up, she threw on a cozy flannel in neutral tones over a white tank top, while carrying a big black puffer jacket.

The Bold and The Beautiful star carried two tote bags full of stuff over one shoulder, and a Gucci purse over the other as she walked.

Ragamuffin: Former housewife Kyle notoriously called Denise a 'ragamuffin' due to her preference for a messy top knot and no glam. The two have since squashed their issues despite a feuding season of television

She placed her blonde locks up in a messy top knot, sporting a tiny bit of mascara and a blue face mask.

The former reality TV star, who was notoriously called a ‘Ragamuffin’ by fellow co-star Kyle Richards due to her preference for casual attire, has been on decent terms with Kyle for the past few weeks.

Despite being at the center of the drama on the show’s most recent season, Denise has managed to put things aside with the Beverly Hills OG.

Speaking to Us Weekly this week Kyle said, ‘I never like leaving things hanging and having, you know, loose ends like that. And I’ve texted with her since then and we’re good.’

She continued, ‘I would have loved to come back and work through all that, but you know, it didn’t end up that way but we can work it out off camera.’

Yesterday it was announced that Denise was being replaced by newcomer, Crystal Minkoff, 35, for the show’s 11th season, which has already begun production in Los Angeles.

Crystal is the wife of Rob Minkoff, who directed the original Lion King movie and is well known within the industry, with Crystal herself being an entrepreneur.

Despite a strong inkling from fans of the franchise, it was only announced that Denise would not be returning for good last month.

A source told People that Denise was looking forward to having more time for her family, and roles on soap operas The Bold And The Beautiful and The Young And The Restless.

Denise’s new Spanish-based project Glow And Darkness alongside Hollywood veterans Joan Collins and Jane Seymour, initially stopped production in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Medieval drama which resumed filming earlier this month, depicts the live of Saint Francis of Assisi, an Italian deacon, and subsequent historical figures in his universe.

The three women spent yesterday doing press for the upcoming series at the Westin Palace in Madrid.
