EXCLUSIVE! ‘I want to be the next Andrew G’: Big Brother star Angela Clancy has her eyes on a new TV gig

She rose to fame after appearing as the villain on this year’s season of Big Brother Australia.

‘I want to be the next Andrew G,’ the 37-year-old said on Wednesday speaking to Daily Mail Australia.

‘I would love to host a talent show like Australian Idol,’ she added.

While most reality stars run at the first job offer they get, Angela explained she is waiting for the right opportunity to return to television.

‘I would never do I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ she said, not clarifying whether she had been offered a role.

‘I don’t do wet conditions, jumping out of planes? Who does that? No thank you.’

Angela added that ‘no amount of money’ would convince her to do the show.

‘I like my comforts, even thinking about that show. I couldn’t do. Anything outdoors, with little animals and parasites and snakes, Arghh.. I can’t do,’ she mused.

Back in September, Angela said she had a dream that she was back on Big Brother – and hoped it would come true.

The dream also featured the glamazon surrounded by the cast of Home And Away – and Angela made a pitch to the show to consider her.

‘I had a dream that I went back to Big Brother and I was with the cast of Home And Away. People might think that’s crazy, but you know what, now that I’m in isolation, why not?’ she said at the time.

‘I decided today, I am just going to spend the day in my Big Brother outfit. Because you never know. You could see me on Home And Away.’
