The Block’s Tash Pavlou breaks down in tears after admitting ‘our budget is just destroyed’

‘I’m just starting to feel a little bit sick’: The Block’s Tash Pavlou breaks down in tears and walks off after admitting ‘our budget is just destroyed’

The pressure of being on The Block got to be too much for Tash Pavlou during Wednesday’s episode of the Channel Nine renovation show.

With money restraints taking a toll, the 32-year-old broke down in tears before walking off, in need of some alone time.

‘Oh my God, our budget is just destroyed this week. But we need these teams to come in, we need this manpower,’ she said.

Even Tash’s dad, Harry, 57, acknowledged that designing the facade of the house on their limited budget would be ‘a real challenge’.

Tash said they had ‘way less than $25,000’ to renovate the entire exterior, and costly problems kept arising, setting them back even further.

‘I’m just starting to feel a little bit sick… We really need money. We’re in the red from last week and, yeah…’ she said, before breaking down in tears.

She tearfully added: ‘I just need to go, sorry.’

Walking off, Tash’s concerned dad quickly chased after her, and leant into her car to talk to her.

‘Are you okay, Tash? You okay?’ Harry asked his distraught daughter, as Tash assured him she was ‘fine’.

Already stretched for cash, foreman Keith Schleiger had insisted that Tash and Harry hire a bricklayer to lay the path leading up to their house.

Harry later admitted that they may have taken on more than they could handle with their renovation project.

‘Do we believe we may have overthought it and probably put too much into it? Probably have,’ he confessed.
