Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund getting ‘more and more excited’ about becoming parents to baby boy
Emma Roberts is getting ‘more and more excited’ about becoming a mother.
The 29-year-old actress is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, 36, and sources have said the couple can’t wait to become first-time parents, as Garrett especially is gearing up to ‘take on all the daddy duties’.
An insider told Us Weekly magazine: ‘Emma and Garrett are getting more and more excited, which is so nice for them. Garrett is really looking forward to becoming a dad and feels as though this is something he needed.’

The insider added: ‘He is ready to take on all the daddy duties, and Emma getting pregnant has forced him to become more responsible. He thinks that’s a blessing.’
The source also said Emma and Garrett have been ‘bonding a ton before the arrival of their baby’.
Meanwhile, Emma recently said she feels ‘grateful’ that the coronavirus pandemic has allowed her to stay at home and not work during her pregnancy, because she has been able to ‘be present’ with herself.
She said: ‘It’s been really an interesting time in the world to be pregnant right now. It’s definitely caused a lot of introspection, but I think it’s been amazing to really sit with myself and really turn inward in a way I never have before and be still. That’s been really nice, and I feel really grateful to have gotten to do that.

‘To not just be running from one appointment to the next or one job to the next. I’ve really had to be present with myself, and that’s been – some days you wanna crawl out of your skin, but other days you feel really good and really grateful.’
The ‘American Horror Story’ alum – who will be welcoming a baby boy – is currently getting her house ready for her son’s arrival, and has said she’s pleased she isn’t having a daughter, because she thinks she’d buy way too many clothes for a baby girl.
She explained: ‘I’ve been trying to not buy a ton of stuff because I love shopping. All I can say is thank goodness I’m not having a girl because the clothing situation would just be insane.’

Emma was previously engaged to actor Evan Peters, 33, prior to their split in 2019.
Garrett was engaged to actress Kirsten Dunst, 38, before they broke up in 2016.
