People are sharing adorable photos of their dogs wearing ‘I Voted’ stickers for the election

The stress relief you need! People are sharing adorable photos of their dogs wearing ‘I Voted’ stickers, manning polling stations, and dressed in red, white, and blue for the election

  • Americans have been sharing snapshots of their furry friends wearing ‘I Voted’ stickers and at the polls in honor of election day
  • The images are being featured on the Twitter account @VotingDogs
  • While the account is dedicated to dogs, that hasn’t stopped people from submitting equally precious photos of their cats

Flashing your ‘I Voted’ sticker come election day has become a time-honored tradition, but it turns out it’s a lot cuter when your dog is the one wearing it.

Whether they are voting by mail-in ballot or in person, Americans across the country have been sharing photos of their furry friends by their sides as they exercise their democratic right in year’s presidential election.

Using the hashtag #DogsAtPollingStations, the snapshots are being featured on the Twitter account @VotingDogs, which is based in the UK but currently covering the U.S. election in the most heartwarming way possible.

With tensions high as Republican incumbent Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden duke it out for the presidency, the account may just be the stress relief people need in the hours — and possibly days — to come.

There are snapshots of dogs wearing ‘I Voted’ stickers on their fur and snouts as well as pictures of them at polling stations and mail-in voting boxes with their owners. Some were even dressed up in patriotic, red, white, and blue to mark the occasion.

And while the account is dedicated to dogs, that hasn’t stopped people from submitting equally precious photos of their cats on election day.

Too cute: It turns out the cutest way to flash your ‘I Voted’ stick this election day is to have your dog wear it
