‘The feeling in the air is contagious’: Pregnant Elyse Knowles reveals she chose to celebrate her babymoon in a beach town which ‘feels like Byron’
With its glorious sun, sea and sand, Byron Bay has become a major hotspot for celebrities.
But pregnant Elyse Knowles, 28, has revealed she shunned the famous coastal town to celebrate her babymoon in Sydney’s idyllic Central Coast.
The Block star told The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential: ‘Forresters Beach reminded me a little of Byron. There’s a calm feeling in the air which is contagious. It forces you to slow down and do nothing but stroll along the beach and explore sea life.’

Elyse, who is expecting her first child with partner Josh Barker, added: ‘There is nothing better than being by the ocean.
‘With the baby on the way and quite a few work commitments of late, it was lovely to unwind and simply relax in each other’s company without the usual daily distractions.’
She also told the publication that she was feeling much more content with her body during pregnancy.
The star added that her workout routine ‘hasn’t been as rigorous’ since falling pregnant, and her ‘go-to’ workouts now include long walks and Pilates.’

In snaps shared to her Instagram, Elyse posed at her and Josh’s five star accommodation in Forresters Beach.
She paired a white Bonds bra and briefs with a white sheer shirt that was draped around her arms.
Elyse looked radiant, and her tanned complexion was flawless. The Myer ambassador revealed on September 16 that she was pregnant with her first child.
She shared a photo to Instagram of herself and Josh on holiday in the Northern Territory, and wrote in the caption: ‘And then there were three #babybarker’.

The announcement came four months after Elyse and Josh bought a $2.3million beach house in Byron Bay.
Their new 1960s built property is located in the old part of Byron Bay town, just a short walk from the main beach and surrounded by tranquil greenery.
Last year, Elyse told Daily Mail Australia that the couple had moved to Byron Bay from Melbourne while chasing a more sustainable lifestyle for themselves.
