Lana Samuels, of Whitefox Real Estate, told Domain the father-daughter team’s home was popular with potential buyers because it’s north-facing and boasts spacious kitchen, dining and living areas.

‘They have utilised that natural light beautifully and kept the colour palette sleek and clean,’ Ms Samuels explained.

‘They’re Melbourne contestants for the Melbourne buyer. They know how we live here.’

Ms Samuels added that the property being at the end of a row of houses gives it another advantage because of the nearby parking space in the laneway.

A source told New Idea the Nine show would not only attempt its biggest renovation yet, but would also feature ‘one hell of a shake-up’ to its format.

The seventeenth season will include house- and partner-swapping gimmicks for the first time, the insider claimed.
