‘She decided to surprise us!’ Tom Burgess’ and fiancée Tahlia Giumelli welcome their second child early at 36 weeks – but say the premature little girl is fighting fit despite dramatic delivery
Tom Burgess’ and his fiancée Tahlia Giumelli have welcomed their second child, a girl, early at just 36 weeks.
Despite the dramatic delivery, mother and baby are doing well, with both Tom and Tahlia sharing the good news on Instagram on Sunday.
The new mum wrote: ‘Our little girl. She decided to surprise us and greet us early at 36 weeks. Born at a healthy 3.5kgs (big for a premmie).’
Tahlia went on to reveal the couple have not yet named the little girl – and they had believed they were expecting a boy.
‘Our surprise bundle of joy is yet to be named but we are so in love with her and can’t wait for Sophie to meet her little sister @thomasburgess. So yes Rupert was a Rupertina after all,’ she wrote.
