Goldie Hawn says making The Christmas Chronicles 2 with Kurt Russell was like being on honeymoon
They’ve been together for 37 years but haven’t acted together in a movie since 1987’s Overboard.
And on Monday, Goldie Hawn told Ellen DeGeneres that working with Kurt Russell on Netflix‘s The Christmas Chronicles 2 had felt ‘just like a honeymoon.’
The couple made the holiday film earlier this year in Vancouver, Canada, and Goldie explained: ‘We’d go out and have dinner and we were just together and it was intimate – it was just the two of us.
‘I just thought it was the most fun time ever. It felt like our honeymoon.’

Goldie and Kurt appeared via Zoom for their interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show .
They acknowledged that they very rarely make joint appearances on talk shows although each separately has been on Ellen before.
The actress, who just celebrated her 75th birthday, also shared memories of the early days of her relationship with Kurt, 69.
The two met on the set of Swing Shift, a wartime romantic drama that was filmed in 1983 and released in April 1984.

At the time, Goldie was a single mother of two, having divorced musician Bill Hudson with whom she had son Oliver, born in 1976, and daughter Kate, born in 1979.
‘I loved the way he looked at my children,’ Goldie said when asked by Ellen about falling for her at the time co-star. ‘It was really something special.’
The Private Benjamin and First Wives Club star added: ‘I fell in ‘love’ but I also fell in ‘like’ and those are two pretty big deals.’
