Grammy nominations: Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin kick off announcements with nominations for Best Latin Pop/Urban Album

Nominations for the 63rd Grammy Awards were announced during a star-packed, hour-long livestream on Tuesday morning.

The remote event, hosted by the Recording Academy, unveiled the most high-profile of the awards’ 84 total categories with presenters Dua Lipa, Imogen Heap, Gayle King, Sharon Osbourne, and interim Recording Academy president Harvey Mason Jr., among others.

Bad Bunny, Camilo, Kany Garcia, Ricky Martin, and Debi Nova earned Grammy nominations for Best Latin Pop/Urban Album.

Fiona Apple, Phoebe Bridgers and Brittany Howard took an early lead in the Rock categories, earning several nods each.

Beyonce, Harry Styles, Future, Woodkid and Anderson .Paak received Grammy nominations for Best Music Video.

The Grammy Awards will air on CBS on January 31, 2021, from Staples Center in Los Angeles. 

Earlier today Daily Show host Trevor Noah was announced as host of the show.

Right now, the Recording Academy is planning several production options, which vary depending on where the coronavirus pandemic stands. 

This year’s Grammys will be the first since the live show’s executive producer and showrunner Ken Ehrlich retired after 40-years. Ben Winston will be filling his shoes.
