Lizzo shows off her curves in white lingerie as she sends a message: ‘My body is changing but I’m gonna keep appreciating it from every angle’

Lizzo is proud of her curvy shape.

On Monday, the 32-year-old singer posted a video to her Instagram account depicting different angles that her body could be viewed at.

She aimed to create a contrast between a more serious view of what bodies look like and a more humanizing perspective regarding body positivity.

In the video, the Truth Hurts singer could be seen wearing a simple white bra and underwear set with a small gold necklace.

She allowed her waist-length hair to hang down her back for much of the video, and also whipped and tossed it around at certain points.

The caption for the video read: ‘Wild to see the body positive movement come so far. Proud of the big girls who gave it wings.’

She added: ‘My body is changing but I’m gonna keep appreciating it from every angle.’

The singer has been very open about her love for her body, and has been vocal about her support for the body positivity movement as a whole.

In an interview with Glamour, the Juice singer noted that her self-confidence was not something that was hard to maintain, and opined that she was trying to change the public perception regarding her own views on her body.

‘I don’t like it when people think it’s hard for me to see myself as beautiful…I don’t like it when people are shocked that I’m doing it.’  

She also stated that the rise of social media has made it possible for people of all sizes to become highly visible, and as a result, normalize their body types.

Lizzo first gained critical attention for her highly publicized 2016 EP Coconut Oil, which contained the single Good As Hell; the song went on to reach the number three spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019.

She went on to release her third album Cuz I Love You that same year, and gained her first number one single with the hit track Truth Hurts.

The album went on to be nominated for Album of the Year at the 62nd Grammy Awards in January, and ended up winning the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
