Hailee Steinfeld and Jeremy Renner wrap up warm as they film an evening scene for imminent Marvel series Hawkeye in chilly New York
New York provided the urban backdrop as Hailee Steinfeld and Jeremy Renner resumed work on their forthcoming series Hawkeye on Wednesday.
The two actors were wrapped against the city’s notoriously cold winter temperatures while preparing to film an evening scene in Midtown, Manhattan.
Sporting a smart black winter coat over a matching roll-neck sweater, Hailee, 23, was dressed in character as titular character Kate Bishop, aka Hawkeye, the daughter of an affluent businessman who trains herself to fight after being assaulted.

Joining his co-star, Jeremy, 49, looked dapper in a smart tuxedo, crisp white dress shirt and bow tie as they filmed a chilly outdoor sequence.
There were rare smiles as the pair appeared to have fun while filming additional scenes in a nearby children’s toy shop.
With New York serving as the show’s prime location, Hailee and Jeremy were previously seen filming scenes close to bustling Times Square.

Both have been hard at work on Hawkeye over recent weeks, with the new Disney+ series the latest addition to the ever expanding Marvel universe.
Jeremy’s Clint Barton character has appeared in six Marvel films through the years, including Thor, Captain America, Avengers: Infinity Wars and Avengers: Endgame.
The new show will also feature appearances from actors Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox and Zahn McClarnon.

Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova from the upcoming Marvel Studios movie Black Widow,’ according to Variety.
Hawkeye joins several Marvel adaptations slated for Disney’s streaming service, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She Hulk, What if…? and WandaVision.
The show was originally slated to debut in May, but pushed back to Nov. 6 and now will see a screen debut of May 7, 2021.
