Real Housewives Of Atlanta: Porsha Williams gets arrested again and splits with Dennis McKinley

Porsha Williams got arrested again while protesting and revealed her split from fiance Dennis McKinley on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

The 39-year-old reality star returned to Kentucky in late August after being arrested there in mid-July while protesting the killing of Breonna Taylor in Louisville.

Porsha was shown participating in a march amid chants of ‘No justice, no peace’ and ‘Say her name, Breonna Taylor!’.

‘We came back to Kentucky to fight for justice for Breonna Taylor, and I am even more upset than the first time because we’ve already done this. We’ve already made her name trend again, and [Kentucky Attorney General] Daniel Cameron still hasn’t done anything,’ Porsha said in a confessional.

‘So, we are there to interrupt the community and let them know that, no, there is still a young woman who has been killed in this town, and we want justice,’ she added.

Porsha said when their group marched onto a bridge there were police in military gear with ‘gas grenades’ and ‘wooden batons exposed’.

‘And someone screamed that this was our Selma moment,’ said Porsha, whose grandfather was the late civil rights activist Hosea Williams.

‘My grandfather was on the bridge on Bloody Sunday, and so, at that moment, I felt connected to my grandfather. I drew strength from it, and I continued to walk forward. Nobody was gonna turn me around,’ said Porsha, referencing the March 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in which protesters were beaten by Alabama State Troopers.

Porsha was charged with obstructing a highway and disorderly conduct in the second degree and said her arrest was harder the second time around.

‘My arrest this time was more difficult because I had been there before, and they wanted to prove a point. So, they left me to be one of the last people to leave the jail,’ she said

Porsha, however, was resolved to continue with her activism.

‘This is the world we’re being forced to deal with, right now. Each step is uncomfortable. Each step is scary, but we are charged with getting an action and doing something about it,’ she said.

Porsha later drove with her sister Lauren and friend Tanya Sam to a pool party hosted by new friend Falynn and revealed her split from Dennis, 44.

She asked Tanya about her relationship with fiance Paul Judge during quarantine.

‘I feel like it has its ups and downs. There were times where I was like, ‘Man, this is such a blessing. I love you.’ And there were times where I just was like …’ Tanya said with a screeching sound effect.

‘I just was like, ‘Go somewhere!’ And there’s nowhere to go,’ she said.

Porsha then shared her experience.

‘It started different. I’m not gonna lie. Quarantine started like honeymoon, like f***ing everywhere, cooking everything and, ”Oh, my god, he’s right here.” Then it turned to divorce within five months,’ Porsha said laughing.

A gossip headline was then shown claiming that Porsha deleted Dennis from her Instagram and unfollowed him on social media amid rumors of a split.

‘I am divorced. It like sped my s*** up,’ Porsha told Lauren and Tanya.

She explained in a confessional, saying: ‘Dennis and I, we had this major argument and it kind of just sent me over the edge. I don’t necessarily like who I am in the relationship right now. This breakup is just something that I need to do for me’.

Porsha also admitted that she was compartmentalizing her emotions in order to cope with it.

‘I’m, like, still broken. I’m still weak. I can’t even deal with it,’ she told Lauren and Tanya.
