EXCLUSIVE: I’m a Celebrity’s Paulini Curuenavuli announces shock split as she ends 15-year relationship for ‘creative’ reasons

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Paulini Curuenavuli has parted ways with her management company P.Y.T. after 15 years.

The pop singer, 38, no longer has a manager but has temporarily engaged the services of booking agency Q Star Productions.

‘I parted ways with my former management team in 2018 and to date have not signed a new manager,’ Paulini told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday.

‘I’ve personally put together a small team who allow me to be “creatively me” as can be heard on my latest single, Twenty Twenty,’ she added.

The Young Divas star announced her partnership with Q Star Productions via a press release last month.

Paulini’s relationship P.Y.T. began to sour after her most recent album, Come Alive, was released to poor reviews in 2015.

Tensions reached fever pitch two year later when Paulini was infamously charged with bribing a public official.

When the scandal made headlines, Paulini apparently wanted to own up and apologise publicly for her ‘foolish’ acts.

Instead, she kept her head down and said nothing.

The final straw apparently came after her successful run in The Bodyguard, which resulted in her being offered other musical theatre roles – but this direction was not favoured by her managers.

Paulini rose to fame in 2003 on the first season of Australian Idol. She placed fourth.

She joined forces with P.Y.T. in 2005, one year after signing a recording contract with Sony Music Australia.
