The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska head off on a road trip

Ever since falling in love on The Bachelor, Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska have spent their time together enjoying outdoor adventures. 

And on Sunday, the loved-up couple revealed they were embarking on yet another getaway: a road trip across the Nullarbor Plain from Perth to South Australia.

Locky outlined their plans for the trip in a clip shared to Instagram Stories. 

‘We are ready, we got the rig packed, and we are crossing the Nullarbor – 24 hours to Port Lincoln, into South Australia, we cannot wait,’ he said. 

In the video, Locky cuddled up to his girlfriend, who was dressed casually in jeans, a white T-shirt, sunglasses and a black hat. 

Locky also opted for a white T-shirt as he showed fans their Nissan rental car, which was packed to the brim with supplies and equipment.

He later revealed they had successfully made it through ‘day one’ of their trip and were spending the night camping just outside Norseman, Western Australia. 

‘Day one done, 800km. We’re just parked outside of Norseman. There’s free camping everywhere so we just pulled over. We’ll make some dinner and then back on the rod tomorrow,’ he said. 

The couple have previously enjoyed several adventurous holidays, including sky-diving on Rottnest Island, riding motorcycles in the Hunter Valley, and hiking for two days across the Blue Mountains. 

Their latest trip comes after Irena recently moved to Perth to be with Locky.  

‘I told Locky at the first cocktail party that I would be happy to move for love,’ nurse Irena wrote on Instagram on Monday.

‘Looking back almost a year later I am still pinching myself that I am here in WA and call Perth home now.’
