You can do it! Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins have joined a slew of stars showing their support for Myleene Klass ahead of her long-awaited Dancing On Ice debut this weekend

In the video Smooth Radio’s Kate praised her colleague Myleene for always bringing a positive energy to the studio.

She said: ‘Myleene is one of those people who is like a huge dollop of joy she just bursts into the Smooth studio it’s always brilliant to see her and everything she does she does at full pelt so I know she’s gonna be brilliant.’

Asked whether she has any advice for the presenter Kate added: ‘I don’t know if I’m the person to give Myleene advice! I’m generally pretty rubbish at anything like this, but I think if you’re taking part in any kind of reality show, just enjoy it.

‘Dancing On Ice is a massive show, it’s a massive thing to be part of and maybe get yourself some padded knickers in case you fall over.’

Classic FM’s Charlotte Hawkins also praised Myleene’s musicality, saying she hopes her natural rhythm will be a help on the rink.

She said: ‘Myleene is such a superstar she always has a smile on her face and spring in her step so I know she’s going to give it her all on the ice.

‘I think Myleene is going to be a phenomenal skater she’s got the musicality and she’s going to be right across the rhythm and she’s going to look amazing.’

Myleene’s longtime friend Aled Jones also recorded a sweet message for the mother-of-three, saying: ‘I’ve been very lucky to have known Myleene for many many years and to class her as a dear friend.

‘She is awesome a ball of energy, a very loving person and an amazing mum energetic, yeah just somebody you love being around, an infectious personality and she’s one of the best that’s all I can say.

‘I think Myleene is going to be brilliant on the ice, she’s brilliant at whatever she puts her mind to and skating is going to be another box ticked, I really enjoy watching her little films and she’s getting better and better every week, and she’s looking great!’

Jenni Falconer, who hosts on Smooth, added: ‘Let’s be honest, everyone likes Myleene she looks amazing she’s a brilliant pianist she’s smart, she’s a great DJ, she’s a great presenter, she’s going to be brilliant at ice skating.

‘If I could give Myleene any advice, then to channel those nerves into positive energy because I know it’s going to be quite nerve-racking over there when you get on the ice rink, but you’ve got this, try not to get nervous, focus on that positive energy and you’ll be fine.’

Alan Titchmarsh said: ‘Having presented television programmes with Myleene I can tell you she is one of the best people to work with, she’s good fun, she’s professional and whatever she tackles she makes it a joy to be in her company.

‘I suspect Myleene will really shine as an ice skater, if she puts her mind to something and she invariably does, then she’d tenacious she’s like a little terrier, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she does exceptionally well.

‘Myleene very best of luck go for it but go for it very carefully and very cautiously as well as being spectacular.’

It comes after Myleene admitted she is hoping to walk away from Dancing On Ice with a ‘bum like J-Lo’s’.

Lopez’s, 51, recent vacation to Turks and Caicos left fans around the world aghast, as she showed off her incredibly age-defying figure in all its glory.

Talking ahead of the show start on Sunday, Myleene said: ‘When else would I get this chance? I’m a mum of three, a step-mum of two, there’s seven of us in our blended family.

‘When else would a mum like me get the chance to learn a new skill. And I spent all of lockdown teaching children and teaching my music classes that went viral and now it’s time for me to learn a new skill.’

That's a good idea! On whether she had any advice for Myleene, Kate said: 'Maybe get yourself some padded knickers in case you fall over'

Myleene hilariously added: ‘And to be able to walk away with a bum like J-Lo’s… that’s the real reason I’m here, I am going to work so hard!’

Despite her plans for a peachy posterior like Lopez, the musician also admitted that she is ‘terrified’ of getting her piano fingers ‘rolled over.’

She said: ‘Oh, I’m terrified of all of it! I’m terrified of my piano fingers getting rolled over. I don’t know why that’s a recurring fear but it just is.

‘I think any time I’ve done a concert I’ve had to sign an indemnity insurance clause and I’ve had to sign all of these things that look after my fingers and now I’m actually in the line of fire I feel like I’m really going to have to look after my fingers.

‘By the nature of what it is I feel quite protective over my fingers. As a pianist I have to look after my fingers but I also have to life my life and I love the fact that I’m going to walk away with a new skill, new butt and fabulous wardrobe!’
