I’m a Celebrity host Dr Chris Brown gave Paulini Curuenavuli an extra push while joking about Australian Idol judge Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson on Wednesday night.

The handsome vet provided Paulini with a bit of extra motivation while she was forced to down a revolting Bull’s penis smoothie in a ‘cocktails’ challenge.

Paulini was competing alongside Toni Pearen and Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico when she was forced to down the unappetising sludge.

The former Australian Idol star struggled to drink the smoothie, with her at one point almost giving up before Chris cracked his cheeky joke.

Host Chris looked at her and said: ‘Paulini, do you know who my favourite Australian Idol judge was?’

He then smoothly said: ‘Dicko. Drink up!’

The trick worked with Paulini quickly gulping down a large mouthful before eventually getting the entire drink down.

Australian Idol judge Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson made offensive comments about Paulini’s weight while she was on stage in 2003.

He told the singer to much criticism: ‘You should choose more appropriate clothes or shed some pounds.’

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday, the 38-year-old revealed her struggles with unhealthy behaviours in her later career.

‘When touring with the Young Divas, I was hardly eating and working out like crazy,’ she said. ‘I may have been between a size eight and 10. I was so unhappy.’

Paulini explained she felt pressure to look thinner, have straight hair, and ‘fit into a mould’ of the Australian entertainment industry.
