Comeback queen? I’m A Celebrity’s Toni Pearen told Colin Fassnidge she’s starting to feel ‘her power again’ during Wednesday’s episode, after admitting she ‘pushed away any kind of aspirations’ because she wanted ‘to be there for her kids’

The former pop star – who shares son Lucky, 11, and daughter Ever, eight, with husband Will Osmond – went on to say her stint in the jungle has made feel empowered but she doesn’t know what to do with it.

‘I’m starting to feel my own power again,’ she told Colin.

‘… I’m wanting to push it away because I don’t want to have to entertain the idea of, ”What do I want to put my power into?” I don’t know.’

Toni went on to say as a mum she felt it was her job to nurture and discard her own ambitions for the sake of her children.

‘I think I kind of pushed away any kind of aspirations that I had deep inside me because I just want to be there for my kids,’ she said.

Former Block star Jess Eva encouraged Toni to embrace her ‘power’

‘[It] scares you cause you’ve already decided the template of yourself and you’re actually so much more powerful than what you gave yourself credit for,’ Jess said.

Jess added sometimes people just get into routines which causes a rut but said Toni should take the discovery with both hands.

‘What a great discovery that you’re far more incredible than you ever imagined. What a wonderful day,’ Jess said.

Toni replied: ‘It’ll be interesting when I get back because I always kind of feel like so many of the roles are mum’s role because I know just how important they are to me.’

Toni finished by saying: ‘I think, through this whole experience, I’ve realised that there’s a lot more to me than I allow myself to be.

‘The new Toni is not going to be afraid of her own potential.’
